Inappropriate Children's Clothing...

In the process of doing my 'Pushy Parents' project, I began looking at how inappropriate children's clothing is becoming... girls' clothes especially. I have designed some artwork that I will print onto white girls T-shirts, aged 4-5...

Pushy Parents...

Currently working on a self-initiated project exploring the idea of pushy parents. As one of my initial images I produced this; a picture of my sister dressed in my shirt. At the time we all thought it was really cute and funny, but how funny is it really that most of the clothes on the high street are just smaller versions of adult clothing which often convey completely the wrong message?

Shop!

Collaboration with second year Illustration and Animation earlier in the year, (finally sorted the photos out!) a relatively open brief about the 'shop'. We focused on the idea that chewing gum is the most impulse bought product... and a complete waste of money.
Collaborative with Gemma, Ben, Joe, Insun, Benio, Felix and Rowena.

This is Tomorrow.

We were set a typography brief called 'This is Tomorrow'. The brief was to provide a forecast for the future typographically. This outcome is based on the idea of preventing against the 4 elements: Bouyancy to protect against flooding, gravity to prevent against tornadoes, suspension to prevent against earthquakes and reflection to prevent against fire.
Collaborative with Signe and Karina.

What would you do if everything was just THAT bad?

As a self-initiated project I explored the idea of over-thinking and over-exaggerating. I took objects which are designed to be functional and made them completely useless in an attempt to show what it would be like if was really as bad as we said it was sometimes.
